What is different about special risk insurance?
The cover required is usually similar to a commercial combined policy however many insurers will not be able to offer cover. Specialist cover is normally required from insurers who know your industry and can provide the correct level of liability and material damage cover.
Special Risk Insurance cover is also available for film and producers liability, not forgetting the cast and crew!, non appearance cover is available, props and wardrobe and the camera equipment. If plant or equipment is hired in, adequate insurance cover must be in place together with complete liability coverage for the whole project.
