Referral Fees to be bannedWe all see the TV adverts, receive the annoying emails and recorded phone messages, No win-No fee compensation claims! At the same time insurance costs are starting to increase and not slowly. The Government has now announced it is going to ban the payment of referral fees. Insurers have been forced in recent years to pass the cost of the compensation culture onto the policy holder and as the claims have increased, so have the premiums. The Jutice Minster, Jonathan Djanogly confirmed proposals are before Parliament to end the situation of referral fees. Hopefully insurers will be able to pass the savings onto the policy holders?
